The Best of Times Bookstore is a large general interest bookstore in the heart of downtown Red Wing, MN. We stock over 12,000 titles in many categories, and over 500,000 titles are available through this website... with free shipping on orders of $25 or more!

In the summer of 2009 we started adding used books to our inventory so we now offer many popular titles at bargain prices. 

 Our store hours are as follows:

Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through December

If you can, please visit us in person..it's worth the trip! We provide a comfortable, bright, and spacious place to peruse books at your leisure. Children feel right at home intheir own special room with hand-painted forest walls and a Laura Ingalls Wilder log cabin in which to snuggle with a good book. Try to find all the little animals and birds hiding in the artwork!

Plenty of comfortable seating, handicapped accessible bathrooms and a friendly and informed staff all add up to the kind of place where you will want to return again and again.

We also special order books every day. Whether you are in search of a new item or an out-of-print book, we probably can find it for you.

The staff at The Best of Times has a wide assortment of interests and reading preferences and is always eager to assist in finding just theright book for you.
